The Sound City Bass 150 head is a rare and powerful bass amplifier from the 70's. This beast of an amp boasts a formidable 150 watts of RMS output, powered by a quad of 6550 tubes, delivering a gnarly, punchy tone. It features an impedance selector that allows you to run at 4, 8, or 16 ohms, and a voltage selector for various wall voltages, making it safe and versatile for use in the US.

While less common and less well-known compared to other iconic '70s tube amps like the SVT, Model T, and Fender 400 PS, the Sound City Bass 150 stands out in its own right. Its unique tonal qualities and sheer power make it a worthy addition to any collection of high-powered tube heads. With its capability to produce classic tube warmth and gritty overdrive, pairing this amp with an 8x10" or 2x15" cabinet will unleash a tidal wave of sound that’s sure to make an impact. This head has been serviced by our technician, and is ready for the stage/studio!
