Here’s a classic you won’t want to miss—a 1964 Silvertone 1454 in a Red Burst finish, a semi-hollow beauty that has been thoughtfully upgraded for enhanced performance.
The body features a beautiful Red Burst finish, showcasing a rich, warm hue that has aged beautifully over time. Please note the wear in the finish on the back of the guitar and the top of the neck near the headstock. Its maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, responsive playing experience. The guitar's scale length is 24 1/4", and the neck has a 12" radius, making it a comfortable fit for a variety of playing styles. The original Waverly tuners are still in place, adding to the guitar's vintage charm.
While the instrument remains largely true to its 1964 roots, someone decided to install replacement humbuckers at some point—and we decided they sounded and looked cool enough to keep. The humbuckers deliver a richer, fuller tone that adds a level of depth and warmth, making this guitar incredibly versatile.
This guitar is a fantastic blend of vintage vibes and modern upgrades, and it sounds as good as it looks. Whether you’re a player looking for a unique sound or a collector wanting a piece of musical history, this 1964 Silvertone 1454 is sure to impress.
